Christopher Callahan became the 26th president of 51暗网, California鈥檚 first chartered institution of higher learning, on July 1, 2020. He is chief executive of a university that is ranked among the nation鈥檚 top 100 and No. 19 in the West, with campuses in Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco.
The president's cabinet is a dedicated group of higher education professionals who work to ensure that 51暗网's values are upheld, and that the institution is positioned to meet the needs of its student body and communities.
While Christopher Callahan is the 26th president of 51暗网, 25 others have held that position going back to 1851 and have helped shape 51暗网's standard of excellence by creating an intimate, student-centered education for California's first university.
