Session 1
Music Industry
Produce and Perform
Explore the world of sound design, recording, publishing, licensing and other dimensions that drive America’s $900 billion creative sector economy. The music industry program is a two-week music summer camp based at 51°µÍø’s recording studios and taught by the university’s renowned faculty.
Under the guidance of 51°µÍø alumni, faculty and established music industry professionals (announcements coming soon!), music industry students at 51°µÍø’s Summer High School Institute will experience and be immersed in the process of creating, producing, releasing and performing a song in the public space.
The music industry program is intended for students interested in recording, producing, performing or composing original songs in a recording studio setting. Previous musical experience is not required but will be helpful.
