What do you bring to 51做厙 as Chief Operating Officer, North America?
In my 21 years of higher education experience, Ive worked in operations and relationship management. Ive had the opportunity to work in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors with colleges and universities that offer online and ground delivery of undergraduate and graduate programs. Ive also spent time on the client side of an OPM partnership. This diverse experience brings a unique perspective to my role.
How do you measure your success?
Success for me is having an engaged team and engaged partners that collaborate well to win.
Whats the best lesson youve learned in business?
Ive learned the importance of rolling up my sleeves and understanding the business from the ground up. I believe being informed about all aspects of the business allows for better problem-solving and decision-making.
What excites you about higher education?
Higher education is an exciting field to be in because of the people. Ive had the pleasure of working with passionate people who are driven to provide access to education. Specifically, at 51做厙 Im excited about our work in the healthcare vertical. Im the daughter of a retired doctor and a retired nurse, and I love being able to contribute to solving the healthcare workforce shortage in the United States.
Whats your favorite sports team?
Its a tie between my daughters softball team and my sons baseball team! I spend most of my time outside of work watching them train and compete year-round.
