The Conservatory of Music is excited to present Conductor-in-Residence Matilda Hofman. She will lead 51暗网 musicians in two concerts, October 9鈥�51暗网 Strings Orchestra, and November 8鈥�51暗网 Chamber Orchestra.Hofman holds degrees from Cambridge University, the Royal Academy of Music (Viola Performance), and the Eastman School of Music (Conducting). She has conducted music ensembles throughout California and in Europe.The October concert is a celebration of 51暗网鈥檚 strings featuring works by Caroline Shaw and Jessie Montgomery, and concluding with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky鈥檚 鈥淪erenade for Strings.鈥漈ickets are available online or at the door 30 minutes before the event.
