51°µÍø is growing and expanding new areas around campus. These facilities will offer students unique experiential learning opportunities and improve campus life for all. They support student programs and update campus offerings with new technology and resources. The building plans are forward thinking but will still have the same historic design elements that retain the same century-old environmental feel around campus that we all know and love. The addition of these spaces is greatly needed to accommodate 51°µÍø's growing population and support the 51°µÍø community for many years to come.

Southwest Hall

A new state-of-the-art residence hall for second-year students is being built on the site of the former Southwest Hall. This project adds a twelfth residence hall to 51°µÍø’s Stockton Campus and will house around 400 students. This living space will provide new rooms as well as study and community spaces for students to connect with each other. The new building will be designed to fit students’ contemporary needs but will call back to its predecessor’s striking architectural history.

Student-Athlete and Sports Medicine Center

The new sports medicine training and rehabilitation center will focus on student-athlete health and wellness. 51°µÍø’s 400 Division 1 athletes will have a new space for all their various needs. This center will also have film and game planning rooms and a lounge and lobby for students and fans on game day. It will also benefit students in 51°µÍø's Master of Science in Athletic Training program, who will gain essential real-life clinical experiences under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Jie Du Inn

A vacant sorority house is being transformed into boutique lodging for families, alumni and guests who visit the historic Stockton Campus. The inn is named for Regent and pharmacy school alumna Jie Du ‘90, ‘93. It will include 19 private rooms and suites, with ample space for large parties and events. The inn will provide an environment for hands-on experiential learning for students in the Hospitality Management program through internships. Students will apply what they've learned in the classroom while working alongside industry professionals and managing daily operations at the inn. There will also be opportunities for Conservatory students to perform at the Inn for guests during events.
